For most, one of the best parts of Walt Disney World is the food!  Because there are so many eating establishments at the resort, visitors will surely find the perfect place to eat every time.  The dining options are divided into smaller categories:  Table Service Restaurants, Counter Service/ Quick Service Restaurants, Refreshment Stands/ Kiosks/ Fast Bites, Character Meals and Theme Park Restaurants.

Some of the restaurants are also themed, so go prepared to be transported to a different world as you dine on delicious food.  You will not want to miss out.

 

  • Flying Fish Café

The Boardwalk complex brings restaurants, bars, gift shops andattractions together for the enjoyment of Disney Land’s visitors.  Feast on the finest seafood and the most sizzling steaks, as this is the best place to eat if you are looking for a fun-loving evening.  There is a dress code to the Flying Fish Café.  It’s not too formal, as men are asked to wear khakis, jeans and dress shirts.  Women may wear skirts, dresses, trousers or jeans.  However, small skimpy outfits and swim suits are not permittedneither are garments with inappropriate language and graphics.

  • Victoria & Albert’s

This is the place where Classic Victorian meets American cuisine.  Victoria and Albert’s is the beacon of innovative cooking, outstanding service and lavish décor, which will captivate the senses.  This restaurant is an award- winning establishment that allows diners to enjoy live music, welcomes guests who are old and new and in addition to this, the staff is dressed and knowledgeable in traditional Victorian attire and culture.  Taste the delectable 7 prix fixe at Victoria and Albert’s many dining rooms.

  • Bull & Bear Steakhouse

The place for all Tequila fans!  So bottom’s up!  Come and have a good time for an enchanting evening.  La Cava del Tequila offers a warm and rich atmosphere with walls decorated with glass bottles used to make over 70 unique tequilas and margaritas the Mexican establishment has to offer.  Snacks are prepared and served within 10 minutes and the place is always packed!  The menu consists of tapas style finger foods, not main courses.  Foods offered are tostadas, tacos, salsas, tortillas and many more.  Away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, this establishment is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.  So get ready for a packed night of Mexican fun!

  • Shula’s Steak House

Fancy a sizzling steak or seasoned seafood?  The food at Shula’s Steak House is an award-winning steakhouse that will tantalize the taste buds and devour the most pleasurable meal you will eat in a long while.  The menu features succulent steaks, sumptuous seafood, lovely lamp chops, and crab cakes.  Finish off the meal with a gorgeous dessert of key lime pie or chocolate cake for the chocoholics.  The restaurant has been decorated with 1972 Miami Dolphins memorabilia and for sports fans, sit back and relax at the Shula’s Lounge, where you can enjoy a pint in the wood- paneled lounge.

Sweet Tomatoes is a restaurant that offers an all- you-can eat dining experience.  It offers a selection of fresh soups, salads and homemade muffins, breads and delicious desserts.  This is the place to go when craving for food that is fresh and easy.  This is one of few ‘green’ certifies restaurants by the Green Restaurant Association.

Sweet Tomatoes is a family friendly buffet style establishment that focuses on fresh, high quality ingredients.  All menu items are made from scratch every day.  Every month, the menu has featured ingredient selections and also menu items for the vegetarians out there.  Don’t miss what this food chain has to offer.

  • Earl of Sandwich

This quick counter service restaurant is just the place to go if you need a quick meal.  Earl of Sandwich is a popular spot if you are looking for a quick meal at reasonable prices.  The menu features hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, fresh salads, ice-cream, cookies, scones, turnovers, brownies and a selection of beverages.  Special lunchbox offers are also available for those who want more than just a sandwich.  With such a large variety of sandwiches and food items on their menu, you may be thinking a long time before deciding what to eat.

Fancy a thick and healthy smoothie?  Then stop here and pick up a smoothie full of fresh fruit and other assorted flavors.  Every sip will be yummy and healthy!

Not many places offer a healthy kids meal and it’s even harder to get children to eat healthier these days.Earl of Sandwich combines both customer needs and has a Child’s Menu that consists of a lunch and dinner menu option.  At $4 a meal, it’s a steal!

  • Narcoossee’s

To be honest, the Walt Disney Resort has an abundance of Seafood restaurants, but nothing like Narcoossee’s.  Here customers are served beautiful food, fresh and innovative dishes.  All seafood is from local waters and caught from all over the world.  The ever so popular whole- steamed Maine Lobster is also available here.

Guests are expected to adhere to a strict business casual dress code.  Men may wear trousers, collared shirts and jackets are optional.  Women are expected to wear dresses, skirts, collared shirts and blouses.

With such a vast variety of seafood dishes, this is a seafood lover’s paradise.  From crispy Rhode island Calamari, Maine Lobster Bisque, Wild Alaskan Halibut, Key West Shrimp and Fettucine, and the ever so famous 2 pound Steamed Mine Lobster;  this restaurant is seafood headquarters.  As soon as you enter the doors of Narcoossee’s, the smell of freshly cooked seafood fills the head.

Narcoossee’s also offers a kids menu for smaller appetites.  Fried calamari rings, crispy chicken tenders, hamburger, Mickey Pasta-n-Cheese or the Mickey Pasta with Homemade Tomato Sauce are available on the kids menu, such a big choice for food for small tummies.

Not in the mood for seafood?  Not to fret.  The menu offer chicken dishes and vegetarian options.  But this is the place to be if seafood is your first love!
